“I’ve always struggled with choosing just one thing,” Cassidy said, “but I think there’s a lot of strength to that. The idea of stagnation is hard.” She grew up wanting to be a writer, so she went to college to study English and Psychology. But the job she got to pay the bills during her freshman year changed the course of her life forever.
Anna Beyerle was good at writing. So, after working on her high school’s newspaper staff, she followed that path into college, studying journalism and political science at the University of Dayton in Ohio, where she began working at the school paper. But it wasn’t the writing, although she excelled at it, that most enchanted her -- it was working with the designer to put together the front page.
Kim Clune loved roller coasters and wanted to find a career that would give her the feeling of being on one 24/7. Little did she know her life would become something of a roller coaster, filled with the highest of highs and astounding lows, but one which she would conquer, just like the theme park rides of her childhood.
